Hi,

Hi,
I just went through my 5h polypose surgery and I’m seriously thinking of starting aspirin desensitization. I am an MD myself and have suffering of Samter’s syndrome since 2000, when I was diagnosed and had my 1st polypectomy, but never thought of doing aspirin desensitization until now. Can you please give me your email address so I could talk to you about how should I proceed? Here in Romania there aren’t many allergologists (none that I know of anyway) that have experience with aspirin…

Thank you sir for taking the time to make this series. I have very bad polyps, very severe asthma which has hospitalized me 100+ times. I have never tried aspirin, but take ibuprofen without issue. Does this mean I am not sensitive to aspirin or are they different?

WOW thank you. I’ve …
WOW thank you. I’ve heard about triad asthma and was finally was able to understand my symptoms. Asthma, polyps, lack of smell. I’ve experienced all these. I didn’t know about asprin desensitization though. Here’s the thing, I had a bad reaction with asprin as a kid but have taken it as an adult with no bad effects. Does that mean I still have triad asthma? Or could I have already ‘desensitized’ myself? Thanks.
