What OTC medications can I take for asthma?

July 9th, 2010 by admin

I think I have asthma, but can’t get to a doctor anytime soon. What can I take for it that is over the counter?

Long-term working stuff would be great, like something I could take once a day just so I’m not wheezing and coughing all the time.

Read this article before you decide to self-medicate. There are OTC meds for asthma, but they can have very bad side effects. Talk to a pharmacist about the best kinds of treatments. I’ve got asthma, and have had very bad experiences with primatine mist as a rescue inhaler, if you get one of those, use it as directed. trust me on that one.
